-Ingredients-

  • 250 g Flour
  • 4 cl Olive oil
  • 10 cl Water
  • 2 Bell peppers (1 green and 1 red)
  • 3 Tomato, peeled and seeded
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • Salt & pepper
  • 10 cl Olive oil

-Instructions-

  1. Make the dough by mixing the flour, salt, water and olive oil. If the dough is too dry, you can add a little extra water. Let it sit for -at least- 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the peppers into strips and the tomatoes into cubes. Dice the onion.
  3. Sauté the onion over low heat in olive oil. Add the peppers, tomatoes, salt, pepper and let it cook for 30 minutes or more.
  4. Flatten the dough with a roll. Cut little circles out of the dough -around 10 cm, I used a big mug to make the circles-. Add 2 tablespoons of the mixture on half of the dough and fold the other half over. Use a fork to seal the dough together. With a brush -or a fork-, brush the dough with egg yolk.
  5. Bake 20 minutes at 160C.
